Michelle Moenssen, the owner and founder of Nonpareil Shirt Company, recently decided to strike out on her own internet venture after owning Metropolitan Tailoring for 10 years in downtown Birmingham. Michelle owned Metropolitan Tailoring for 10 years in downtown Birmingham: voted “Best Tailor in Metro Detroit” in June 2002 in Hour Magazine, and Style Magazine. She has had over 20 years experience in custom tailoring and dressmaking, specializing in fitting women. Before she opened her tailoring business, she worked for a custom shirtmaker that specialized in men’s shirts.
After never being happy with the fit or styling of the men’s shirts she ordered for herself she decided that to start a custom shirt business exclusively for women. She came to The Whole Brain Group looking for a high-tech way to sell the beautiful custom tailored shirts she creates. With the new Nonpareil website and online store, customers can enter their measurements, choose their fabric, cuff and collar style, and get a unique and perfectly tailored shirt delivered straight to their doorstep! Michelle offers style tips on Against the Grosgrain blog created to compliment her website and online store.
On April 30th, The Whole Brain Group hosted an event to celebrate the launch of the website and e-commerce store for Nonpareil. Attendees were given a complimentary fitting and discount on their made-to-measure custom tailored shirts.
