Use Cloud Computing to Save Energy

Instead of installing servers in our office, which would increase energy, heat, and take up space, we’ve moved our systems to Mosso, a server company that employs cloud computing technology to reduce the environmental impact of our systems.

We host all of our production systems there, and lease additional time on the servers instead of buying new hardware when doing development and testing.

Whole Brain Joins Ann Arbor getDowntown Communter Challenge 2009

The Whole Brain Group will participate in the getDowntown Commuter Challenge for the second year in a row.

The Commuter Challenge is a month-long competition in May between Ann Arbor Area organizations that encourages individuals to use sustainable transportation to get to work. Organizations compete against one another and log sustainable commutes online.
